Networking with Bloggers to Get Links

For years now, online marketing bloggers have made tons of money using the simple blog. But you know what the secret ingredient is here, and it is your ability to bring your niche audience to your blog and make them like it. Just one way that so many try is to rank in the engines so they can avail themselves of tons of traffic.

Of course everybody in IM knows the necessity of backlinks if you want to rank well. One of the most powerful type of backlink can come from other bloggers, but you must know how to ask them for it.

Blogging is about relationship building, so make sure you give a brief introduction about yourself to the other blogger. This should be obvious, as you ideally should try to build a solid relationship with these bloggers. Before you go out there and ask for a link, your efforts should be directed towards building and establishing a relationship. But there is no need to be worried about doing this since you should not write a lot about the subject. You will find that not everybody will agree to give you a link, and then it will come down to being a numbers game. Learn from every experience you have. As they say, experience is the best teacher. As you move forward, you’ll make your share of mistakes. All of your experiences and what you learn from them are important. Try to tap into that as much as you are able once you’ve started to gain it. No book, no course, no school can teach you what experience can. You will see which bloggers will respond back to you and which bloggers will not. You will gain some firsthand experience in how that whole “asking for links” game gets played. You need to make sure that every step you take is a progressive one and that you do not ever stop moving forward.

Sometimes you can tip decisions in your favor by simply being willing to offer value to those who would link to you. Most likely the other person will want money or some kind of really terrific piece of content, so negotiate with them. Do not be afraid to go out on a limb with this, and the more valuable the link, the more you need to offer. This is the kind of situation in which you may have to go into not knowing what the blogger will want. We all have our favorite methods to use in our net businesses, but we urge you to look at the bigger picture when you are being introduced to new things that really could prove to work well. But this just goes back to the concept of testing because even having an open mind to try something, if only once, is the smart thing to do. One thing we know is that some we know were skeptical about seo packages until they seriously tested it and saw the results. One solid piece of advice we can give you is to learn more about the history of anything involving marketing methods and things of that nature, and that is why marketing forums can be so valuable.

We have all been scammed early in our IM careers, and it can almost seem like a rite of passage for us. If you actually give what you buy a shot, then if you do not perform solid research is when you are pressing your luck. But as we have said, this is usually the domain of those who have not been around for long. We really pretty much do not care who it is, if something is new to you then you have to preform some research to get another side of the story. What you will usually end up doing is not wasting your time and money.

Try to move past any internal objections about this working because it can work when you say the right things. You can get some very good backlinks using this method when you talk to other bloggers. If your posts and articles are high grade, then other bloggers will not mind linking to you. The more you put into your posts, the more you can get out of them with a return.
